First Class and Business Class customers are permitted two pieces of carry-on baggage: one briefcase plus either one handbag or one garment bag. The briefcase may not exceed 18 x 14 x 8 inches (45 x 35 x 20cm);the handbag may not exceed 22 x 15 x 8 inches (55 x 38 x 20cm);the garment bag can be no more than 8 inches (20cm) thick when folded. The weight of each piece must not exceed 7kg (15lb).
Economy Class customers are permitted one piece of carry-on baggage, either a handbag or laptop bag, that may not exceed 22 x 15 x 8 inches (55 x 38 x 20cm) and must weigh no more than 15lb (7kg).
Emirates has one of the world's most generous baggage policies. Economy Class customers can check in 30kg, Business Class travellers 40kg and if you are flying First Class you can travel with 50kg of checked baggage. These weights do not apply to itineraries involving North or South America.

Check in for your flight on emirates.com up to 48 hours in advance - choose your seat and print your boarding pass or get a mobile boarding pass sent to your phone.
Checking in at the airport
Get to the Emirates check-in counters no later than 90 minutes before your departure time. Emirates' check-in counters open no less than three hours prior to departure.
Once you have checked in, please go through security no later than 60 minutes before your flight departs. If you are holding an eboarding pass and travelling with carry-on bags only, please go directly to security.
Make sure you get to your boarding gate on time. Boarding starts 45 minutes before your flight and gates close 20 minutes before departure. If you report late we will not be able to accept you for travel.
