Information about flights to Bangkok
Search Bravofly today to find cheap flights to Bangkok, the capital and the most populous city of Thailand. An amazing destination, familiar yet exotic, where you can escape hum drum life and have a little fun which is part of their culture. Visit ancient temples, taste the local food and haggle at the markets, are just a few of things you can do when visiting this city.
Bangkok's best sightseeing comes with its temples, and palaces. Main landmarks are focused within the canal ringed old town and the Dusit District which makes it easy to see everything on foot. On top of the list we can find the Grand Palace. This Palace was the home of the Thai King for a long time and it was built back in 1782. In this amazing architecture there is also the Thai war ministry.
Lovers of culture, Bangkok has it all. Take a wander around China Town which is how the city used to be and perhaps you'll stumble upon a live Chinese opera performance. Visit the Chinatown Heritage Centre found beneath the world’s biggest Buddha at the Wat Trimit. Another must visit, is the Temple of Dawn, or as known among the locals the Wat Arun. This tower was constructed during the 19th century and is famous for its Khmer style. As well as its natural beauty this attraction is famous with the locals as it symbolises the birth of the Rattanakosin Period.
Try an extended boat trip with a visit to a hidden market too. Take some time to enjoy the food too, but make sure you leave some time to visit Siam Square. Siam square is what Oxford Street is to London. Say no more! Looking for some nightlife, then visit the RCA or Thonglor for some electrifying evenings to top off your Bangkok experience.
If you want to enjoy some magical views, then visit the iconic State Tower’s Sirocco or even the Banyan Tree’s Vertigo bar and chill with a drink while watching the sun set over Bangkok. This is a great way to escape the crowded streets and enjoy the glittering skyline.
For some authenticity, then take a stroll to the Damnoen Saduak Floating Market. Here you can taste a ready-to-drink coconut juice and local food prepared on floating boats. Whether you buy or not, this market will remain in your memories forever.
